MAHWAH, N.J. – At least four juveniles were hospitalized – all with injuries that police said weren’t life-threatening – after a school bus slammed head-on into a tree in Mahwah after being struck by another vehicle early Tuesday evening.
The bus “Continued about 100 yards and hit a tree head-on,” he said.
The female bus driver was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, the captain said.
Mahwah EMS and NJ Mobile Health responded, along with ALS and BLS from the Valley Hospital, where the youngsters were taken.
